American Black Film Festival Filmmaker's Breakfast A Big Success!

On June 25th, FilMiami partnered with the Greater Miami Convention and Visitor's Bureau, the City of Miami Mayor's Office of Film & Cultural Affairs, the Broward Alliance and the Governor's Office of Film & Entertainment to host the ABFF's Filmmaker Orientation Breakfast at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach. The event was a big success and was well attended. Representatives from the local and state film offices were present to welcome filmmakers.

According to Jeff Peel, Director of the Miami-Dade Office of Film & Entertainment, “We are very pleased that the ABFF came back to Miami. Hosting this breakfast was a wonderful opportunity to meet, greet and talk with the filmmakers. In addition, we gave each filmmaker a goody bag with information on filming in South Florida including incentives, locations, equipment vendors, crews, production services and hotels.”
