FLORIDA LEGISLATORS ANNOUNCED THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACT
Representative Steve Precourt (R-Winter Garden) and Senator Mike Haridopolos (R-Melbourne) announced the Entertainment Industry Economic Development Act on Wednesday at the Florida Press Center. The legislation is a top priority for the upcoming legislative session and will be a key component to the state’s economic diversification and recovery. Senator Haridopolos and Representative Precourt provided details on the proposal which will allow Florida to attract new jobs immediately; while requiring no expenditure of taxpayer money in the upcoming budget.
