A TINY AUDIENCE RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL EMMY NOMINATION

Tiny Audience

Independently produced in Miami by FEBRUARY ENTERTAINMENT, A TINY AUDIENCE, the music talk show that brings celebrated Latin musicians up-close and personal with an intimate studio audience, is not only much beloved by the audience, but also respected by its peers. The series has been nominated for an INTERNATIONAL EMMY AWARD in the category of Best Non-English Language US Primetime Program, up against some of the most glamorous award shows on television today.

Unlike traditional media that focus solely on the performance, A TINY AUDIENCE brings musicians and a small audience of dedicated music fans together in an intimate relaxed setting where today’s Latin music sensations, as well as legends, perform fully organic acoustic renditions of their hits, and talk about their craft. The focus of the show is on the close connection between artist and audience, moderated by three musician hosts who know the artist’s music and ask the questions real music fans want to know. Artists featured in the series include Juanes, Alejandra Guzmán, Sebastián Yatra, Natti Natasha, Paulina Rubio, Carlos Vives, Sech, Ivy Queen, Pedro Capó, Lunay, Jesse y Joy, and Carlos Vives, among others.

Latin music superstars love performing on A TINY AUDIENCE. They have a chance to showcase their talent accompanied by a house band composed of renowned musicians, led by Tim Mitchell (Shakira). Many big stars, not used to being so close to their audience, have even found the experience a little intimidating. As Natalia Jiménez said: “I can see the look in your eyes,” while Natti Natasha commented that “A Tiny Audience may be tiny, but with a big heart.”

For season 2, A TINY AUDIENCE did something completely daring. In the middle of the COVID pandemic, before vaccines were available, February Entertainment filmed the second season in an NBA-style bubble, keeping whole the crew, audience (!), and musical guests safe during the entire shoot with no incidence of COVID transmission.

In a field dominated by the usual network primetime variety shows, A TINY AUDIENCE offers music fans a unique way to (re-)discover their favorite Latin musicians, by giving them the stage to share not only their music, but also their story.

Seasons 1 and 2 of A TINY AUDIENCE are available for streaming in the US on HBO Max and in Latin America on DirecTV. Season 3 will premiere early 2022.
