Applying for a Film Permit
The following information will be needed to apply for a Film Permit:
Company Information: Name and Address.
Insurance Policy: Insurance Company and Policy Number. Please visit the insurance information page for more information regarding where to send your insurance certificates and the appropriate information for additionally insured for the City of Miami Beach and Miami-Dade County.
Production Company & Production Contacts: Name, Title, Phone Number, Fax, Cellular, Pager, E-Mail.
Production Information: Production Title, Production Type, Extras, Cast, Crew, Dollars Spent Locally, Number of Production Days, Hotel Name, Location of Hotel, Number of Rooms per Night.
Location Request: Name, Address, Start and End Date, Description of Scene.

Zoo Miami
Zoo Miami is a leading attraction with numerous locations that are well suited for use by commercial photographers for print, broadcast, digital media or commercial production, as long as the production is in accordance with our mission. These sites can be made available only during off-peak days and times including weekdays, Monday through Thursday. Shoots are structured to ensure minimal inconvenience to Zoo visitors. To get permission to film or have a professional photo shoot that will be used for promotional/commercial use at Zoo Miami, please contact Zoo Miami Foundation’s Director of Marketing, Cindy Castelblanco, at 305-255-5551. She will instruct you on what permits you need, insurance, liability waivers, cost, etc.
