Mediamax Films recently spent 3 days filming a large Italian commercial at Crandon Park Beach. The production employed 180 local crew members, 3 cast and 45 extras. Crandon Park received over $10,000.00 in fees from this one production. The production also hired 2 Off-Duty Miami Dade County Police Officers for this production. Some of the local production companies that worked on this commercial included: Film Trade, My Buddy's Catering, and Camera Services Center. Miami Beach benefited from 300 hotel nights for this production. Crandon Park has been the location of choice for over 60 productions so far this year, including still shoots, music videos, commercials, and television shows. Crandon Park has been the location for Marley & Me, Dostana, Britney Spears, Aerosmith, Ashanti and many more.
