What's Required:

Apply for a Film/Photo permit at FilMiami.org

All communication regarding these locations must be thru FilMiami

Miami-Dade County has two closed landfills available filming/photographing

The NW 58th Street Wetlands

South Dade Wetlands

◊ All filming is on a case by case basis.
◊ Requires off-duty personnel on site at all times.
◊ Production will be required to prepay for personnel.
◊ Scouting available only Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

◊ All vehicles must remain only on paved areas
◊ NO generators / heat sources on the grass (paved areas ok) 
◊ Wetlands are off limits
◊ Deep water at shoreline. Stay clear of the water.
◊ Predators (alligators, etc.) may be present
◊ DO NOT disturb the wildlife, including feeding
◊ NO excavations (or impacts to cap)
◊ NO open flames or pyrotechnics (includes smoking)
◊ NO hoofed animals 
◊ Required full clean up after finished or fees apply
◊ NO minors without consent from parent or legal guardian
◊ NO off-roading All vehicles are to stay on roads

Overtime costs for these facilities are defined as: Weekends, all day on Wednesdays, anytime Outside of normal business hours - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
